Memo from Cannes

View of CannesAm in Cannes, part way through a frenetic work trip. The scenery is beautiful but so far I’ve been inside most of the time (and am anything but serene). Luckily, I’m too busy to think about home too much, which is good. So here’s my memo:

Miss Scrip and my husband a lot. Missing sleep (the irony). Love Facetiming and love little voice messages, pictures and round ups from my husband (highlight of each day). Pleased I can still remember my A-Level French (it helps SO much when trying to get a table on the Carlton Terrace at 7pm). Love the sunshine in the background, even though it’s just in the background.

Love the fact Scrip’s doing really well and is a happy little soul still. Love the fact she still thinks I’m in an aeroplane, 3 days later. Can’t wait to see them both at Heathrow on Sunday.

A tout a l’heure.

A big thing after eight months with a mini sidekick everywhere I went.
